Tooling Engineering Team

We have streamlined the manufacture of patterns and tooling at Toowoomba Metal Technologies , aimed squarely at reducing cost and lead time to our customers.

This focus has resulted in the successful coupling of this technology with the skills of our trained in-house tradespeople.

We have the ability to accept solid models via e-mail and once a final design has been agreed on between the project manager and the customer tooling manufacture can commence in our in-house CAM tooling cell.

The change to Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) at the pattern making stage, verses the traditional hand made pattern, provide many benefits including reduced lead time, lower costs and more accuracy. Our CAM pattern making has reduced the lead time from idea, to design and then into production, too less than four weeks.

Relationships are in place to fatigue test product in independent laboratories in Europe and the United States.

We continue to provide our customers with a controlled storage environment for their patterns, ensuring the safety and quality of these important assets.
