Testing
 As an industry leader in the manufacture of quality
machined castings, our people in Toowoomba have a high
commitment to customer service and quality. Our quality
performance is demonstrated by our achievement of the
ISO9001  Quality Standard in 1991, and
the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia
registration of our laboratories for metallography and
chemistry testing.
A number of testing procedures our incorporated into
our daily activities, including:

Testing and control of clay bonded moulding sand
to provide casting accuracy and casting finish
|
| Mechanical |
Hardness, microstructure and tensile (yield &
impact) strength tests ensure our metal grades perform
to the standards they are designed |
| Chemical |
Chemical composition tests using our in-house
Optical Emission Spectrograph (OES) also ensure
conformance to material types, particularly important
for safety critical components |
| Metrology |
Dimensional measurements ensure reliability of
shape and are checked using either of our two
3 axis CNC Co-ordinate Measuring Machines

Many customers have additional testing requirements and/or
frequencies to those presented above. We are pleased
to accommodate these needs.
Additional non-destructive testing (NDT) is accommodated
for customers when required, such as:
- X-ray
- Magnetic particle testing
