Machining

To ensure the shortest lead times and a responsiveness to customer requirements our large machine shop has been arranged into operational teams.

From time to time these teams may change depending on new customer requirements that we are very pleased to accommodate. At present the teams comprise:

Heavy Transport Cell


This high volume automated cell operates continuously, producing brake drums, spoke wheels and disc hubs suitable for prime movers, semitrailers and buses. Assembly and balancing operations can be performed to individual customer specifications.

Pump Cell

Okuma LC 20Currently producing ISO specified centrifugal pump components such as impellers, volutes , bearing housings and backplates , this cell has tremendous flexibility to meet a wide range of product types and sizes.

Automotive Cell

Recently created to ensure the efficient machining of a specialized automotive component, this cell is focused on high quality output for a specific customer requirement.

Water Products Cell

Able to machine a complete range of water fittings from 80mm to 300mm diameter, this cell is complemented by a powder coating facility. Combined we can ensure supply of quality fittings that will satisfy the growing demand of coated fittings to stringent coating specifications.

Miscellaneous Cell

This cell is required to carefully balance the various needs of a very diverse range of customers and products. Mitsu SeikiProducts range from railway bogie components to sugar cane harvester castings. However this cell has been designed to ensure maximum flexibility to met all the changing requirements of our customers.

This cell also can assist other cells from time to time, if they have a short term capacity shortage.
